The KBA’s Verified Local Honey program guarantees that your honey is completely authentic and sourced locally. This is achieved through a comprehensive evaluation of the apiaries and hives of our honey producers, ensuring they adhere to a strict set of standards. Be sure to check for the label below on your honey producer's packaging and promotional materials.

For Consumers

• Buy with confidence that your honey is 100% real and local.

• Look for these logos on your honey producers honey labels and marketing materials.

• Participation in the Verified Local Honey Producers is free for KBA members. If you are not a KBA member please click here to Join the KBA.

• The application is a digital form completed online. Applications from non-KBA members will be rejected without review.  The review process typically takes 1 week or less but can take up to 21 days to complete. As part of this application you will need to upload a picture(s) of your apiary(s) showing all the honey producing hives, taken within the last 6 months, as well as your honey label artwork(s), please have those ready prior to beginning the application process.
