Verified Local Honey Producers

The KBA’s Verified Local Honey program guarantees that your honey is completely authentic and sourced locally. This is achieved through a comprehensive evaluation of the apiaries and hives of our honey producers, ensuring they adhere to a strict set of standards. Be sure to check for the label below on your honey producer's packaging and promotional materials.

For Consumers

• Buy with confidence that your honey is 100% real and local.

• Look for these logos on your honey producers honey labels and marketing materials.

• To verify a honey producer please email a picture of their honey label to KBA@kyanabees.com (this link contains a preformatted email to send)

  • As part of this application you will need to upload a picture(s) of your apiary(s) showing all the honey producing hives, taken within the last 6 months, as well as your honey label artwork(s), please have those ready prior to beginning the application process. 

• Participation in the Verified Local Honey Producers is free for KBA members. Applications from non-KBA members will be rejected. If you are not a KBA member please click here to Join the KBA.

• Each member can receive upto 8 sheets of 48 labels (384 total) per year at no cost included with a KBA Membership. Labels are 1.25" diameter round labels printed on 8.5x11" sheets designed to be placed ontop of a standard 38/400 plastic cap. Additional sheets can be purchased at $0.80/sheet at any KBA event or $10 for 8 sheets mailed. To request labels please email KBA@kyanabees.com
