Bring your bee suit and join us on Sunday, May 1st at 5pm, for our second 2022 Field Day at Cave Hill Cemetery and Arboretum. Michael Higgs - Director of the Cave Hill Heritage Foundation and Beekeeper, Roger Martin - Head Arborist and Lead Beekeeper and Rodolfo Bernal - Consulting Beekeeper, will provide an up-close look at their extraction house, pollinator garden and the apiaries in the cemetery and arboretum. This is a unique opportunity to visit this beautiful, historic property that was chartered by the legislature in 1848 as a rural cemetery.
Please arrive a bit before 5pm at the Baxter Avenue Gate, 701 Baxter Avenue. Check in with the guard house and they will provide instructions on where to park. We are hoping for a perfect May Day, but if the weather does not cooperate we will work with the Cave Hill team to reschedule. Hope to see you on Sunday!
