Join the Kentuckiana Beekeepers Association for a field day at KBA member Dave Handsbury’s 50+ hive apiary in Jeffersontown, Kentucky 6/7/2026 1-4pm to discuss Honey Harvesting. We will open hives as well as tour Dave’s sideliner honey house. This is an excellent opportunity for those beekeepers looking to expand their honey operation.
Rain or shine. Remember, it’s outdoors and there will be live bees, so please dress accordingly and bring plenty of liquids. We’ll have just a few extra veils and bottled water available for your convenience.
Open to the public and free with a $15 yearly KBA Membership. Click here to become a member kyanabees.com/join-the-kba
Dave Handsbury’s apiary is located behind his home. Please pull into the driveway. We’ll have folks directing cars where to park in the grass if conditions are not too wet.
