Please join us at the Kentucky State Fair with State Apiarist, Tammy Potter. She will talk about how to be successful entering in the State Fair competition for bees and honey. We will meet at the Bees & Honey exhibit at the fair.

We are an active local beekeeping community hosting public educational events and hands-on field days since 1976. The Louisville, Kentucky metro area and surrounding counties are full of beekeepers! You may even have one living on your street, keeping bees in their backyard, without even knowing it. Often quirky, sometimes funny, but always interesting, the urban beekeeper loves to share knowledge on the life and benefits of honeybees and the challenging yet entertaining hobby of being a beekeeper.
