We are needing volunteers to work the bees and honey booth at the Kentucky State Fair for the Kentuckiana Beekeepers Association and the Kentucky State Beekeepers Association. We are looking for 5 people per shift, 3 shifts of 4 hours. You will receive one pass for entry and parking to the State Fair to use that day to get in. Please help us represent the KBA! We are an active local beekeeping community hosting public educational events and hands-on field days since 1976. The Louisville, Kentucky metro area and surrounding counties are full of beekeepers! You may even have one living on your street, keeping bees in their backyard, without even knowing it. Often quirky, sometimes funny, but always interesting, the urban beekeeper loves to share knowledge on the life and benefits of honeybees and the challenging yet entertaining hobby of being a beekeeper.
