The Kentuckiana Beekeepers Association is hosting Mel Disselkoen "OTS Queen Rearing" Author in February 2018
SATURDAY February 2nd, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the South Central Regional Library @ 7300 Jefferson Boulevard Louisville, KY 40219

I'm happy to announce that the KBA will be hosting Mel Disselkoen to speak to us about OTS Queen Rearing and OTS Beekeeping on Saturday, February 2, 2019. This will give you time to implement the OTS methods in Spring of 2019, if you choose to do so. Exciting!

This event is free and open to the public, but we are asking you register and we are suggesting a $10 donation to help with the costs of hosting. If you cannot afford it, you are still welcome to come, but please register.

*We have reserved the large meeting room that holds 120 people.  We need volunteers to help us setup, take-down, take donations, etc., so if you are willing to volunteer an hour before or an hour after, please let us know at kba@kyanabees.com.

We are an active local beekeeping community hosting public educational events and hands-on field days since 1976. The Louisville, Kentucky metro area and surrounding counties are full of beekeepers! You may even have one living on your street, keeping bees in their backyard, without even knowing it. Often quirky, sometimes funny, but always interesting, the urban beekeeper loves to share knowledge on the life and benefits of honeybees and the challenging yet entertaining hobby of being a beekeeper.
