The KBA will be working the Kentucky State Fair this day at the KSBA bee and honey booth. Please consider volunteering your time to help promote bees and Kentucky honey and raise funds for both the KBA and KSBA! An email will go out with volunteer opportunities.

We are an active local beekeeping community hosting public educational events and hands-on field days since 1976. The Louisville, Kentucky metro area and surrounding counties are full of beekeepers! You may even have one living on your street, keeping bees in their backyard, without even knowing it. Often quirky, sometimes funny, but always interesting, the urban beekeeper loves to share knowledge on the life and benefits of honeybees and the challenging yet entertaining hobby of being a beekeeper.
