The KBA will host Tammy Horn Potter, our Kentucky State Apiarist, on the ste of beekeeping in Kentucky and the industry, in general.
We will then hold elections for the 2023 year. Please consider volunteering for a position as the club needs the help!
We are an active local beekeeping community hosting public educational events and hands-on field days since 1976. The Louisville, Kentucky metro area and surrounding counties are full of beekeepers! You may even have one living on your street, keeping bees in their backyard, without even knowing it. Often quirky, sometimes funny, but always interesting, the urban beekeeper loves to share knowledge on the life and benefits of honeybees and the challenging yet entertaining hobby of being a beekeeper.
